Everyday
Logs
Container output as a page of its own.
What it gives you
- Live output from a running container, streamed rather than polled.
- A page with its own address, rather than a panel buried inside a container's detail view.
- Log streams arrive multiplexed and are demultiplexed before you see them, so stdout and stderr stay distinguishable.
- It sits in the everyday half of the rail because it is one of the two tools you reach for when something is wrong.
When it cannot stream
- On the exec rung, live log streaming is not available.
- The page explains itself rather than appearing broken or simply empty.
Air-gapped
- Entirely local to the daemon you are connected to. Nothing here reaches outside the enclave.
