Getting Started
Install the app, find your way around the window, and save your first connection.
On first launch MangoSSH creates its local data directory under your operating system's standard app-data location. Nothing needs configuring.
The main window
- Top toolbar — Protocol buttons — Dashboard, SSH, RDP, VNC, SFTP — plus More, Scripts, a Hosts toggle and Settings.
- Workspace sidebar — SSH Keys, Scripts, Audit Log, Port Forwarding, Connection Health, Session Logs, Password Manager, Policies and the PAM Dashboard.
- Main pane — The active view: your connection list, an open terminal, an RDP or VNC canvas, or a settings page.
Profiles
Profiles keep entirely separate sets of connections — work and home, or one per client — so nothing from one environment appears while you are working in another. A host that seems to have vanished is almost always in a different profile.
Step-by-step guides
How to set each of these up, one task per page.
